Women in Leadership

We are taking our commitment to inclusion and diversity beyond discussion and into action, providing unique leadership development and support to our female leaders at all levels in the organization.

To begin our efforts, we hosted our inaugural Women In Leadership Summit in November 2011. More than 135 female senior NiSource leaders gathered for development sessions and to share opportunities and challenges around leadership.

The summit was the first in a series of activities we call Building the NextGen: Women In Leadership. In 2012, we’ve committed to initiating an affinity group open to all employees, a pilot mentor program, future leadership meetings throughout our footprint and additional focused training opportunities.
