Shawn Anderson is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NiSource Inc., and a member of the executive leadership team. He has responsibility for finance, accounting, strategy and risk for NiSource Inc. and its subsidiaries.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Anderson has 15 years of experience at NiSource, previously serving in a number of executive leadership roles including Chief Strategy & Risk Officer and Treasurer. He also held several finance and regulatory roles at NiSource subsidiary, Columbia Gas of Ohio, including Vice President of Regulatory Affairs.

BOARD AND CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
Anderson serves as Chair of the Finance Committee for the American Gas Association. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Mount Carmel Health System and as Chair of Mount Carmel’s Governing Board, as well as on the Board of Directors for Children’s Hunger Alliance, where he chaired its Finance and Audit Committee.

EDUCATION
Anderson has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Ohio University. He completed his Six Sigma Black Belt from Xavier University and is a graduate of Leadership Columbus.
